I'm a veteran, a husband, a dad, and a man of faith who's been called to serve through things I love: the outdoors and the lens.

From 2005 to 2018, I served in the Marine Corps as an Avaition Ordnanceman. After leaving active duty, I worked as a machinist and at Lowe’s Home Improvement — but something was missing. I felt caged in, disconnected. So I stepped out in faith and launched STW Charter Service LLC, now known as STW Outdoors llc, offering guided fishing trips, eco tours, and coastal duck hunts across Eastern North Carolina.

But I didn’t stop there. I wanted to capture the moments too — the stillness, the action, the testimonies. So I enrolled in photography classes and launched Faith in Focus by STW OUTDOORS, offering family portraits, sports photography, event coverage, and outdoor storytelling that reflects the beauty of God's creation.

We’re more than just a charter service — we guide with purpose. Whether you’re chasing redfish, hunting waterfowl, or watching a Neuse River sunset, we help you reconnect with creation, community, and faith.

As a volunteer tagger, I help conserve our local fisheries by tagging trout, red drum, flounder, and cobia — collecting data that supports future generations of anglers. I’m also an active captain with the Release Over 20” program, promoting ethical catch-and-release practices for trophy-sized fish.

Giving back is part of the mission. That’s why I proudly serve with Take a Warrior Fishing and Disabled Outdoorsmen USA, helping veterans and individuals with disabilities experience the healing power of time on the water.
