July's Wrapping – STW Outdoors

July brought the heat — but so did the fish.

Despite scorching temps, the red drum bite has been on fire, and big blues have made their presence known too — bending rods and making memories. The Neuse River is loaded with bait, and the fish are feeding like they know August is coming.

We’ve had some incredible days on the water: from topwater explosions at sunrise to late-day sight-casting, the action has stayed consistent. Blessed to share the boat with families, veterans, and first-timers — all chasing that feeling only fishing can give.

Big Drum Season & New Website Live

August means Old Drum, and our focus now shifts to these Neuse River giants. They’re mean, powerful, and unforgettable once you hook into one. I still have a few open dates, so if you’re ready to test your gear (and your heart rate), message me to get locked in.

Also, I’m proud to announce that the new STW Outdoors website is officially live!

Check out trip options, past adventures, and our new Faith in Focus photography portfolio.
